TECHART LM-EA9 adapter is able to turn your manual Leica M lens into an autofocus lens and use it under the Sony E mount cameras. It can immediately give lives to all the manual Leica M lenses, it also changes the experience we had with these lenses. You can now use your favourite Leica lenses for taking snap shots, motion pictures or candid photos.
This generation(LM-EA9 version) has more improvements, the size is reduced, the number of motors is increased, the focusing is faster and more accurate, and the workmanship is also very delicate. TECHART LM-EA9 adapter is basically a lens adapter with a motor and a printed circuit board, allowing the camera to measure the focus and communicate with the motor. And the motor will move the lens closer or further away from the camera sensor to reach the focal point.
The principle is similar to the Contax AX camera that the flange distance is adjusted to reach the focus. which is sufficient to cover the focusing distance for most of the lenses. And the optical performance will not be affected for unit focusing lenses.

Note:
When replacing the lens, make sure that the focal length of the lens matches the set focal length to ensure correct image stabilization and better focusing experience.
M-series lenses are all manual light maps. You only need to adjust the light map on the lens to use which aperture to shoot. The aperture of the camera body should be kept at F2.0 to ensure correct vision and not interfere with other settings.
